Read about 2009 Halloween Many of the grand plans I had for 2008 fell through due to lack of time and a key supplier canceling my backorder. So, I decided to do only Christmas this year and skip on Halloween. I was surprised how many people mentioned missing the Halloween display, so I am planning on doing it again for 2009. For Christmas, I decided to fall back onto the 2007 display layout and reworked the programming for the new elements. The 2008 display is similar to 2007 with some changes and additions. The biggest addition was the two "firestick" poles wrapped with lights where I could chase light up and down the pole. The main sequence using the poles is Sleigh Ride. The display continued to grow, and I had 26,000 lights and 167 circuits in 2007. I also began work on my first display - a 40 channel window display for my dorm room!
